Ideal candidate will be responsible for managing the payroll & employment tax transition of an acquisition taking place. This will involve managing the onboarding of the acquisition company payrolls into the client's outsourced payroll vendor ecosystem, ensuring successful project implementation ensuring continuity during the transition and supporting the payroll & employment tax teams of client and the acquisition company. This person will also own the post transition payroll activities to ensure data integrity such as collecting historical payroll information and reports from the acquisition company to ensure good storage in the client ecosystem for the future, as well as helping to close any payroll registrations down where necessary for the old acquisition company payrolls. The person will support the employment tax team in managing the transition of our mobility tax program between the acquisition company and client.
Qualifications:- Bachelor's degree required.
- 8+ years' experience in Payroll Processing, Project Management, and employment tax
- Payroll certification highly preferred
- Ability to operate in a fast paced and high expectation environment
- Strong interpersonal skills and verbal/written communication skills
