Job Description

**Job Summary**

We are seeking a highly skilled Transition Project Manager to join our team at Paycom Payroll LLC. As a key member of our implementation team, you will be responsible for leading the implementation of our payroll solution for new clients, ensuring a seamless transition and successful adoption of our platform.

Key Responsibilities

  • Workload & Project Management:
    • Develop and execute detailed implementation plans for clients, ensuring timely and accurate completion of projects.
    • Implement newly released tools and features with clients, driving adoption and usage.
    • Manage client expectations and deadlines, ensuring successful project outcomes.
    • Organize and prioritize tasks effectively, utilizing self-management habits to increase productivity.
    • Allocate resources efficiently to ensure work is completed on or before deliverable deadlines.
  • Risk Management:
    • Diagnose and resolve customer concerns and requests in a timely and professional manner.
    • Make independent decisions on problem resolution, consistent with Paycom policies and procedures.
    • Submit sensitive data through appropriate Paycom platforms, adhering to Paycom Security Standards.
    • Proactively anticipate client needs and assess risk, keeping management informed of significant client problems.
  • Training & Mentoring:
    • Develop and deliver training programs for clients, promoting the use of Paycom HCM tools.
    • Ensure all trainings meet Paycom standards and client acceptance.
  • Change Management:
    • Drive the company vision through the utilization of the Paycom software.
    • Adapt to internal process changes and stay up-to-date on product developments.
    • Complete Paycom software training to stay abreast of new releases and functionality.
    • Hold internal and external partners accountable to project objectives and timelines.
  • Communication:
    • Monitor and respond to all communication channels, including email and telephone notifications.
    • Communicate effectively with clients and colleagues to establish cordial and effective working relationships.
    • Tactfully communicate critical feedback to clients, colleagues, and manager.
    • Assume responsibility for establishing and maintaining effective communication and coordination with Paycom personnel and management.

Requirements

  • Education: Bachelor's degree
  • Experience: At least 1 year of applicable experience in a customer-facing role
  • Preferred Qualifications: Certifications such as Six Sigma (White Belt, Green Belt), CAPM, CSM, PMP, MBA or comparable program

  • Ability to work as part of a cross-functional team
  • Ability to perform job duties with moderate supervision
  • Oral and written communication skills
  • Bilingual preferred; able to read, write, and speak Spanish and/or French proficiently
  • Public speaking/presentation skills with both small and large formats (50+ attendees)

  • Intermediate knowledge of the industry, product, and processes
  • Intermediate computer skills in Excel, Microsoft Office Suite, Outlook, and web-based platforms
