Purpose and Scope:
We are looking for a Product Manager with proven experience within a healthcare, policy, or government contracting environment. This project utilizes human-centered, outcome-based product management approaches within a SAFe© Agile environment to respond to customer demands for meeting the challenges of government healthcare directives. The successful candidate will interface with customers and teams to identify and solve user problems, develop a team vision and roadmap for improvement, define and prioritize features and user stories, and facilitate delivery, analysis and iteration throughout the Agile lifecycle.?
Responsibilities:
- Provide product owner/management responsibilities to a support-focused agile team
- Analyze new and complex product-related problems and create solutions that involve timelines, technology, methodology, tools, and solution components, of the support product.
- Coordinate iterative improvements of the support product with government liaisons, HCD, Engineering and team members, including requirements development, and health metrics.
- Utilize tools and reports, such as JIRA and Confluence, to collect, develop and analyze agile data and metrics while tracking and managing progress.
- Facilitate product backlog and refinement ceremonies.
- Prepare for PI (Program Increment) Planning (SAFe).
- Provide support to multiple user customer-types
- Respond to customer inquiries in a timely manner via various communication channels (ex: email, Jira)
- Ability to implement security and compliance directives from government liaisons
- Ability to track and set up metrics to evaluate helpdesk activities
- Ability to learn multi-step compliance procedures and document steps for knowledgebase/playbook use
- Ability to evaluate helpdesk activities and make recommendations for improved support processes and workflows
- Additionally provide other product owner/product management responsibilities
- Act as a product evangelist and become the subject matter expert of support as a product throughout the delivery lifecycle.
- Lead and mentor the team in Agile values, principles, and practices.
- Support the preparation, maintenance and communicate the product roadmap, which defines product enhancements for short and long-term releases.
- Work closely with internal and external stakeholders to ensure high quality delivery.
- Accepts completed development efforts by ensuring that the user value is delivered, and acceptance criteria are met.
Required Qualifications:
- 4-7 years of experience as a Product Owner/Manager within an Agile software development environment, specifically on a support or Helpdesk focused team, within the government or healthcare industry
- A bachelor's degree in computer science, Information Systems, Engineering, Business, or other related scientific or technical discipline. With eight years of general information technology experience and at least four years of specialized experience, a degree is not required.
- Ability to collaborate and communicate with technical and non-technical personnel from analyst to C-suite executives.
- Ability to effectively communicate and negotiate priorities between stakeholders, including customers, development teams, and management.
- Experience delivering in an Agile / SAFe environment and using JIRA, Confluence and SharePoint applications.
- SAFe PO/PM Certification
- Ability to work in a fast-paced and time-sensitive environment
- Excellent oral and written communication skills
- Must reside in the United States and can obtain a Federal Government Public Trust clearance required.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Additional SAFe Certifications
- Domain knowledge of data management teams and products
- Medicare, Medicaid or healthcare verticals experience
Work Environment:
eSimplicity supports a remote work environment operating within the Eastern time zone so we can work with and respond to our government clients. Expected hours are 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM Eastern unless otherwise directed by your manager.

Procedure Compliance - Each employee must read, understand and implement the general and specific operational, safety, quality, and environmental requirements of all plans, procedures, and policies of their job.
Occasional travel for training and project meetings. It is estimated to be 5-15% per year.
