About the Position

The Coordinator supports the Merchandising Team in the entry & accuracy of data and preparation for meetings/deliverables.

Responsibilities

  • Support the merchandising team in day-to-day operational tasks
  • Drive accuracy of product details through excellent execution & management of all systems and tools
  • Own photo shoot process with support from the Assistant Merchant, ensuring timely handoff of samples & shot lists to Marketing
  • Assist in key meeting preparation with samples, deck preparation, analysis, and ad hoc requests
  • Develop and foster a teamwork atmosphere and encourage positive morale
  • Other duties may be assigned

Qualifications

  • Excellent organizational and planning skills
  • Strong interpersonal skills; excellent written and verbal communication
  • Ability to multi-task and work independently
  • Must possess strong, active listening and problem-solving skills
  • Must be comfortable with math
  • Have an eye for fashion and interpret trend information as it pertains to the Venus Brand
  • Computer literacy and the ability to utilize business programs as needed to conduct business. This includes but is not limited to PowerPoint, Excel, Digistyle, Qlik, etc.
  • Willingness to assist in the department as needed

Education & Experience

  • Bachelor’s Degree preferred
  • Preferably an internship or 1 year relevant experience
