We are currently seeking a dedicated, full-time Senior Golf Operations Coordinator to enhance our golf services team. This role includes a comprehensive benefits package, featuring Medical, Dental, and Vision insurance, along with Paid Time Off and Holiday Pay.

Compensation: $15.00 per hour

Key Responsibilities:

The Senior Golf Operations Coordinator is responsible for ensuring a welcoming atmosphere for guests and members by:

  • Maintaining the overall cleanliness and organization of the clubhouse and pro shop.
  • Assisting in the planning and execution of golf events and tournaments.
  • Delivering friendly and professional service to all patrons.
  • Accurately processing transactions involving cash and credit cards.
  • Facilitating business operations by managing tee time bookings, addressing customer inquiries, and promoting merchandise.
  • Educating players on course regulations, current cart policies, and pace of play.
  • Overseeing the training, scheduling, and mentoring of pro shop staff.
  • Directing the commencement of play as necessary.
  • Keeping precise records of equipment rentals.
  • Assisting with food and beverage services as required.
  • Implementing safe work practices in all job functions.
  • Exhibiting consistent and reliable attendance.
  • Performing additional tasks as assigned by the direct supervisor.

Qualifications:

Education: Less than a high school diploma; or up to one month of relevant experience or training; or an equivalent combination of education and experience.

Physical Requirements:

The role involves regular standing, walking, and sitting. Occasional climbing, balancing, stooping, and kneeling may be required. Frequent use of hands for handling and reaching is necessary, along with regular communication. Occasionally, the position may require lifting items weighing up to 50 pounds.
