Role: Sentry Financial Assistant with Emphasis on Accounts Receivable

Primary Objective: Own the complete accounts receivable (invoicing) process from creation to payment.

Accountability Chart Roles:

  • Accounts Receivable
  • Monthly sales & excise tax
  • Bi-Weekly & Monthly reporting assistance


Primary Duties

  • Create and format invoices per requests from project managers.
  • Generate customer statements.
  • Follow up on past due invoices.
  • Monitor pending invoices and update as needed.
  • Receive and post customer payments.
  • Daily bank deposits & monthly account reconciliations.
  • Remit monthly sales & excise taxes for SD, ND, MN, and beyond.
  • Assist Controller with monthly financials & bi-weekly reports
  • Cross-train to other financial tasks as needed


What does Winning look like?

  • Invoices are created, approved, and sent out within 3 days.
  • Past due invoices are at or below the set metric.
  • Monthly bank statements are reconciled within 15 days.
  • Run all weekly & Bi-weekly reports in a backup capacity

Requirements

  • Microsoft office experience, especially Excel
  • Computer literacy (Windows)
  • Superior problem-solving skills
  • Organizational and time-management skills
  • Accounts Receivable
  • Ability to multitask


Preferred Skills:

  • Quickbooks Desktop
  • SD state sales & excise tax regulations
  • Cost Accounting
  • Excel Pivot Tables
  • Microsoft Power BI
  • Familiarity with EOS
