Job Title: Associate Financial Advisor

Location: Waltham, MA

Summary: A growing wealth management firm is seeking an Associate Financial Advisor to support Senior Financial Advisors in managing relationships with approximately 100 client families. This role is critical in ensuring the delivery of high-quality financial planning, investment management, and client service. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in financial services, with a deep understanding of portfolio construction, risk management, and business development.

Responsibilities

  • Assist Senior Financial Advisors in managing all aspects of client relationships, including financial planning and investment management.
  • Support Senior Financial Advisors in business development efforts, helping to grow and maintain the client base.
  • Develop a comprehensive understanding of clients portfolios, including asset allocation, risk management strategies, and performance monitoring.
  • Act as a liaison between clients and account managers, addressing client service issues promptly and efficiently.
  • Handle all administrative functions for assigned clients, including onboarding, account opening, fund movements, scheduling, and CRM management.

Qualifications

  • Minimum of two years in financial services.
  • CFP required; CFA is a plus.
  • Experience with financial technologies such as RedTail, Orion, and eMoney preferred.
  • Competence in Microsoft Office applications.
  • Bachelors degree in Finance, Business, Economics, or a related field.
