About the Role

As a Credit Analyst at Cambridge Financial, you will play a crucial role in the underwriting process of Commercial loans for our clients. This is an exciting opportunity to join a dynamic team and contribute to the bank's mission of exceeding customer expectations.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist in the analysis of financial statements and credit reports to assess the creditworthiness of borrowers.
  • Develop and maintain a thorough understanding of commercial lending operations and regulations.
  • Prepare comprehensive credit analysis summaries for loan requests and annual reviews.
  • Identify industry trends and analyze borrower performance to develop credit risk assessments.
  • Collaborate with Loan Officers and Portfolio Managers to gather customer information and prepare loan approval requests.
  • Support credit risk management activities, including internal/external audits, loan reviews, and regulatory compliance matters.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in business, finance, or accounting, or minimum of 5 years of banking/financial services experience.
  • Strong analytical skills and ability to articulate ideas verbally and in writing.
  • Knowledge of commercial lending operations and regulations preferred.
  • Proficiency in Excel and Word, as well as ability to learn and adapt to internal bank systems.
  • Ability to work independently and in groups, with effective project and time management skills.
