JOB SUMMARY:

The purpose of the Portal Billing Specialist is to upload invoices into the 3rd party portals for all subsidiaries. Manage the portal dashboards and direct rejected invoices. The Portal Billing Specialist will navigate through several different platforms, i.e., Ariba, Service Channel, Corrigo and Coupa.

ESSENTIAL JOB DUTIES:

  • Upload invoices to various third-party portals
  • Monitor portal dashboards to identify rejected invoices or customer requests
  • Direct rejected invoices to the billing team
  • Assist with approving annual agreements and annual fees
  • Communicate issues or portal maintenance with Third-Party Portal Administrator
  • Maintain the portal email inbox
  • Other duties may be assigned.

QUALIFICATIONS

The qualifications listed below are representative of the elements required to perform the job successfully, however in some cases, an equivalent combination of Education, Training, Certifications and Experience may meet the job qualifications.

Education, Training, Certifications:

  • High School diploma/ GED or Accounting certificate, required
  • Associate’s and/or bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance or similar; preferred

Experience, Knowledge, Skill Requirements:

  • 2-3 years billing experience, required
  • 2-3 years or portal experience, preferred

Communication Skills:

  • Must have the ability to effectively read, write and communicate in English with employees and customers
  • Strong interpersonal, written, and oral communication skills
  • Understanding of basic administrative procedures, required
  • Ability to work effectively as a collaborator, required.

Systems and Software Skills:

  • Ability to operate a computer, use Microsoft Office, required
  • Intermediate Excel knowledge, preferred
  • Ability to learn ERP/CRM systems; Timberline Sage 300 CRE, preferred

Other Qualifications:

  • Valid driver’s license with acceptable driving record required
  • Must be able to comply with Summit’s Drug and Alcohol policy and Background screening requirements, which may also include customer specific requirements based on contractual agreement.
