Summary of Position:

As a Product Owner II, you will be a key driver in our agile product development process. Your role involves translating customer needs into actionable requirements, collaborating with cross-functional teams, and ensuring successful product delivery.

Essential Functions:

  • Build trusted partnerships with internal stakeholders (executives, sales, marketing, operations)
  • Learn the stakeholder’s “rhythm of business” by understanding their goals, challenges, and operational patterns

Work Environment:

This job operates in a professional office environment. This role routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers, phones, photocopiers, filing cabinets and fax machines.

Physical Demands:

While performing the duties of this job, the employee in this position frequently communicates with other co-workers/clients who have inquiries about the various projects and other needs. Must be able to exchange accurate information in these situations. The employee must be able to remain in a stationary position 75% of the time. The employee in this position needs to occasionally move about inside the office to access file cabinets, office machinery, etc. Constantly operate a computer and office machinery such as a calculator, keyboard, copy machine and printer. Frequently moves boxes with equipment weighing up to 25lbs across the building and/or to other offsite buildings for various project needs.

Required Education and Experience:

  • Bachelor's degree in Technology or Business; or equivalent work experience
  • 8+ years of experience

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree required; MBA or Master's Degree preferred
  • 5+ years in a program or product ownership space, 3+ years in an Agile development environment
  • Possess a high degree of knowledge and understanding of computer systems, programming, and software testing
  • ITQSB Qualified
  • Strong understanding of common Systems Development Lifecycle (SDLC) methodologies, including Waterfall and Agile/SCRUM
  • Ability to work independently and make sound discretionary judgments
  • Ability to analyze and solve complex problems quickly and creatively
  • Excellent oral, written, and interpersonal communication skills. Additionally, the role requires a proven ability to read and understand technical requirements
  • Outstanding technical, analytical, and problem-solving abilities, along with an ability to collaborate cross-functionally
