Job Overview:

As a member of our dynamic sales team the Account Executive will lead the charge, close deals, collaborate, and most importantly grow with us. The Account Executive will play a key role in our growth strategy by identifying and generating new business opportunities through outbound and inbound activities. The ideal candidate will have 3-5 years previous experience in direct sales, preferably of a [tech] product into multifamily real estate markets. The Account Executive will work closely with assisting the sales and marketing teams to expand specific markets. Duties of an Account Executive:
  • Prospecting and lead generation: Research and identify potential customers through various channels, including social media, web searches, and industry events.
  • Build target contact lists through cold calling and emailing to prospective customers.
  • Engage target contacts through phone calls and/or email communication, convey value-proposition and assess prospects level of interest.
  • Pipeline Management: Maintain and update the sales CRM systems with accurate and detailed information on all interactions and follow-up activities.
  • Educate customers about our products and services through demonstrations (via phone and web)
  • Qualification: Assess the needs and requirements of potential customers and qualify leads to ensure they meet the criteria for further engagement by the sales team.
  • Follow-up: Create clear documentation of meetings using software tools such as Salesforce.
  • Collaboration: Work closely with the sales and marketing teams to develop strategies for targeting specific markets.
  • Manage administrative duties for sales team members as assigned, including scheduling of client meetings and conferences.
  • Achieve & surpass sales targets.
  • Assist with A/R duties if clients are past due on invoices.
  • Other duties as assigned.
Requirements of an Account Executive:

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Self-starter with ability to organize and prioritize sales efforts for maximum effectiveness.
  • Demonstrated ability to explain complicated technical subject matter in a simple concise manner.
  • Willingness to work very hard in a new highly competitive industry to achieve sales targets.
  • Exceptional ability to connect with decision makers and convey confidence, sincerity and credibility in representing Envoy and Blink Chargings products and services.
  • Ability to use database and CRM software tools (e.g. Excel, Hubspot, and Salesforce)
  • Ability to use documentation and presentation tools (e.g. Word and PowerPoint)
  • Experience selling into commercial real estate markets, a plus
Minimum Qualifications:


  • Bachelors degree in Business, Marketing, or Communications from an accredited college/university
  • 3-5 years of work experience as an account executive or similar role.

Compensation:
$70-90k; This is a commission-driven role, perfect for the hungry salesperson who wants more.

Physical Requirements:

  • Working conditions are normal for an office environment. Work may require occasional travel, weekend and/or evening work.
