Hamlet Overview:

Hamlet is a venture-backed start-up that transforms public data into accessible insights for both private- and public-sector clients. We are seeking a talented account executive to scale our sales initiatives, drive substantial growth in our target markets, and master knowledge of our product solutions.

Hamlet was cofounded in late 2022 by a team committed to turning public data into easy-to-understand insights for various audiences. Understanding public data, particularly at the local level, can be arduous. Yet vast amounts of important information are contained in public meetings, public notices, and other documents. Hamlet is committed to turning this information into understandable info for our customers.

Role Description:

As an account executive at Hamlet, you will be responsible for driving sales and expanding our client base. You will work closely with our engineering, product, and marketing teams to understand our solutions deeply and communicate their value to potential clients. This role requires a balance of sales acumen, product understanding, and alignment with our company culture.

Responsibilities:

  • Engage with Prospects: Identify, engage with, and close new business opportunities.
  • Collaborate with Teams: Work closely with our engineering and product teams to ensure alignment on company goals and product capabilities. Collaborate with the marketing team on marketing and sales techniques that nurture leads and convert them into new customers.
  • Client Management: Maintain and grow relationships with key clients, ensuring that they receive maximum value from our solutions.
  • Travel: Travel with the team for client meetings, industry events, and other business-related activities.
  • Sales Strategies: Develop and execute strategic sales plans to achieve revenue targets.
  • Reporting: Track and report on sales metrics, providing insights and recommendations for continuous improvement.

  • Location: Based in Los Angeles, CA, or the Bay Area, CA, with the expectation of being in the office three days a week.

Requirements:

  • Proven track record of success in a sales role within a SaaS organization.
  • Strong understanding of the sales process and an ability to close deals.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Willingness to travel as required.
  • Nice to have: PropTech experience or real-estate-industry knowledge
