In support of the overall events strategy, this role will own the responsibility of vetting, proposing, and managing approved supporter-initiated/led events, designing and executing auction strategies, and managing committees and sponsors related to the foundation’s marquee fundraising event. As leadership support within the department, the Event Fundraising Manager will collaborate with the Events Director to oversee the vision and execution of communications across all events, ensuring excellence in relationship management and guest services. The Event Fundraising Manager will be a highly relational person who has an eye for making the details stand out. Responsibilities:
  • Effectively communicate with donors and leadership to understand donor objectives and align vision for event opportunities
  • Accurately forecast opportunities and pipeline
  • Lead pre-planning, timeline management, and communication for seamless execution of details for live and silent auction experiences
  • Manage and cultivate live auction opportunities for TTF to have throughout the year
  • Create overview package and materials for marketing live auction experiences
  • Define fair market values and work alongside finance to confirm values for silent and live auction experiences
  • Lead procurement of silent auction items for the Celebrity Gala and Golf Classic
  • Continually learn the best practices for silent and live auctions, present internally, and lead implementation of new processes
  • Oversee and train volunteers for live and silent auctions
  • Manage relationships with external contacts for all auction experiences including the auctioneer
  • Lead implementation for guest auction experience during events
  • Vet and review new fundraising opportunities for final review by Events Director
  • Serve as primary point of contact for approved new fundraising opportunities that are outside of current TTF Community
  • Manage hotel room blocks and ground transportation for sponsors
  • Oversee key elements of the golf tournament including course layout, activations, hole activities, cart order, proximity prizes, ministry team contact, and tournament rules
  • Oversee internal committees that lead in areas of execution for our flagship fundraiser
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for sponsors for the Celebrity Gala and Golf Classic, and provide key input and feedback for pre-event communication
  • Creation and oversight of registration process and how this supports other key event areas
  • Manage budgets for assigned events and preparation of check requests for final payments
  • Input and track event details and processes for internal records
  • Lead the creation and implementation for giving at fundraising events
  • Perform additional duties as necessary

Qualifications:
  • 3-5 years of experience in fundraising, sponsorships, marketing, or in a related area
  • Proven experience and thorough understanding of executing complex events; golf/sporting related events a plus
  • Bachelor’s degree in advertising, business, marketing, public relations, event management, or a related field of study
  • Self-motivated and goal oriented with the ability to multitask and effectively prioritize work
  • Prior experience working within a fundraising software, such as Raisers Edge, Hub Spot, and/or Classy
  • Ability to identify and solve problems in a timely manner
  • Outstanding written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills, great attention to detail, ability to process and maintain confidential information, and develop strong relationships with both internal and external constituencies
  • Light to moderate lifting, as needed
  • Ability to travel for onsite execution as needed during the year
