Role: Sentry Financial Assistant with Emphasis on Accounts Receivable
Primary Objective: Own the complete accounts receivable (invoicing) process from creation to payment.
Accountability Chart Roles:
- Accounts Receivable
- Monthly sales & excise tax
- Bi-Weekly & Monthly reporting assistance
Primary Duties
- Create and format invoices per requests from project managers.
- Generate customer statements.
- Follow up on past due invoices.
- Monitor pending invoices and update as needed.
- Receive and post customer payments.
- Daily bank deposits & monthly account reconciliations.
- Remit monthly sales & excise taxes for SD, ND, MN, and beyond.
- Assist Controller with monthly financials & bi-weekly reports
- Cross-train to other financial tasks as needed
What does Winning look like?
- Invoices are created, approved, and sent out within 3 days.
- Past due invoices are at or below the set metric.
- Monthly bank statements are reconciled within 15 days.
- Run all weekly & Bi-weekly reports in a backup capacity
Requirements
- Microsoft office experience, especially Excel
- Computer literacy (Windows)
- Superior problem-solving skills
- Organizational and time-management skills
- Accounts Receivable
- Ability to multitask
Preferred Skills:
- Quickbooks Desktop
- SD state sales & excise tax regulations
- Cost Accounting
- Excel Pivot Tables
- Microsoft Power BI
- Familiarity with EOS
