POSITION: Assistant Day of Event Coordinator

 

SUMMARY: The Assistant Day of Event Coordinator supports the Day of Event Coordinator and is the face of The Springs Coordinator Services. They will help in executing exceptional events on the day of, all while providing extraordinary customer service. Successful events will largely depend on the personable character, skilled communication, and organizational wisdom of the Assistant Day of Event Coordinator. Looking for someone who knows how to run a smooth event, handle any unexpected or difficult situations, all while maintaining a smile and cool-headed demeanor. 


ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: (Including but not limited to)

  • Arrange and conduct scheduled Planning Meetings
  • Create necessary “Day of” details to include, Timelines, Vendor Contact Lists, Event Details and Floor Plans.
  • Schedule and conduct phone consultations and calls with booked parties.
  • Conduct on site Venue Walk Thru
  • Confirm all details, timing, and logistics prior to the day of event.
  • Create and distribute customized timelines for all vendors.
  • Clear and concise communication to client throughout planning timeframe
  • Conduct on site rehearsal the morning of, if requested
  • Greeting and directing vendors on-site
  • Coordinate signing of marriage license and final delivery to officiant.
  • Direct and coordinate timeline and itinerary throughout the day
  • Guide Client/Wedding party throughout the day keeping them informed throughout event.
  • Assist and guide client with end of event.

EDUCATION AND/OR EXPERIENCE:                                        

Minimum of 1 year of planning / coordination work experience

 

COMPENSATION:

 $20 hourly rate


PHYSICAL DEMANDS: Must be able to work 10+ hours daily, mostly standing & walking, inside and outside, in all weather conditions
