Job Overview

Position: Assistant Day of Event Coordinator

Compensation: $20 per hour

Role Summary: The Assistant Day of Event Coordinator plays a crucial role in supporting the Day of Event Coordinator, serving as the primary representative of The Springs Events. This position is essential for ensuring that events run smoothly and successfully, characterized by outstanding customer service. The ideal candidate will possess a friendly demeanor, excellent communication skills, and strong organizational abilities to manage various aspects of event execution.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Facilitate and lead scheduled planning meetings.
  • Develop comprehensive 'Day of' documentation, including timelines, vendor contact lists, event specifics, and floor plans.
  • Organize and conduct phone consultations with clients.
  • Perform on-site venue walkthroughs.
  • Verify all event details, timing, and logistics prior to the event day.
  • Create and share tailored timelines with all vendors involved.
  • Maintain clear and effective communication with clients throughout the planning process.
  • Conduct on-site rehearsals on the event day, if required.
  • Welcome and guide vendors upon arrival at the venue.
  • Oversee the signing of marriage licenses and ensure their delivery to the officiant.
  • Manage the event timeline and itinerary throughout the day.
  • Assist and support the client and wedding party, keeping them informed and engaged during the event.
  • Provide guidance to clients at the conclusion of the event.
