Dunmar Moving is an Agent for Allied Van Lines and is looking for a highly motivated person to join our Move Coordination Team to assist with coordinating Household Moves. This person needs to be able to work in a fast-paced environment and be able to problem-solve when issues arise. A Move Coordinator is one of the first points of contact with our customers and is responsible for providing a strong positive first impression for our company. The Move Coordinator establishes the relationship with the customer and facilitates the future relationship between the Sales Representative and the customer by setting up an in-home survey for a Moving Consultant. Once a move is booked the Move Coordinator manages the entire move process. They act as the central point of contact and liaison for the customer and all participating agents by providing excellent follow-through while maintaining quality assurance at every level of assistance and action. A Move Coordinator will provide support to Moving Consultants, Operations, and other internal departments to ensure the move is completed harmoniously in all aspects. A Move Coordinator’s main focus should be to ensure a high-quality move through meaningful and positive engagement with all customers.


A successful Move Coordinator takes ownership of the entire move process with each customer.

Requirements:
  • Knowledge of principles and processes for providing customer and personal services: i.e., customer needs assessment, meeting quality standards for services, and evaluation of customer satisfaction
  • Knowledge of administrative and clerical procedures and systems such as word processing, managing files and records, and other office procedures and terminology
  • Knowledge of human behavior and performance; individual differences in ability, personality, and interests; and learning and motivation
  • Knowledge of Microsoft-based computer products, including Excel, Outlook, Word
  • Knowledge of Google products, such as Google Calendar
  • Knowledge of basic geography
  • Ability to communicate clearly and effectively, listening and understanding information while being able to communicate information and ideas in speaking, so others will understand
  • Ability in deductive reasoning – the ability to apply general rules to specific problems to produce answers that make sense
  • Ability to develop and maintain positive and professional relationships with co-workers
  • Ability to work independently as a self-starter or as part of a larger team to accomplish goals
  • Ability to actively prioritize requests for support and daily tasks that arise in the workplace

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Two (2) or more years of customer service/sales experience and/or training preferred
  • Ability to successfully pass a background check and other pre-employment screening.
