Position Overview: We are actively seeking an experienced and strategic Product Owner to join our growing team at FINSYNC. The primary focus of this role will be the development and enhancement of our Member Center, a crucial component of our CO.STARTERS business accelerator program. This platform is essential for supporting aspiring entrepreneurs, startup businesses, and the facilitators and community organizations that assist them. As a Product Owner, you will play a pivotal role in shaping the future of our offerings, driving innovation, and delivering high-quality solutions that meet the evolving needs of the entrepreneurial ecosystem we are building. Additionally, you will have the opportunity to significantly contribute to the growth of this ecosystem, helping entrepreneurs from diverse backgrounds transform their business ideas into thriving enterprises. Your work will drive a meaningful impact on individuals, communities, and the broader economy.

Key Responsibilities: 

  • Lead Development and Enhancement: Oversee the development and continuous improvement of the Member Center platform to support CO.STARTERS participants, facilitators, and community organizations.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work with engineering, design, marketing, and customer support teams to deliver high-quality solutions.
  • Product Vision and Alignment: Gather and prioritize product requirements, define the product vision, and ensure alignment with business objectives and stakeholder needs.
  • Drive Innovation: Identify and implement new features and improvements to enhance the user experience and add value to the ecosystem.
  • Primary Point of Contact: Serve as the main contact for product-related inquiries and communicate updates to internal and external stakeholders.
  • Performance Monitoring: Monitor and analyze product performance metrics to inform decision-making and drive continuous improvement.
  • Comprehensive Product Strategy: Develop and execute a product strategy aligned with company goals, maintaining a robust product roadmap that prioritizes features based on market trends, customer feedback, and business objectives.
  • Product Roadmap Ownership: Own and drive the product strategy for the CO.STARTERS Member Center, ensuring it meets user needs and aligns with FINSYNC's mission.
  • User-Centric Development: Gather and analyze user feedback to continuously improve the Member Center's functionality and user interface.
  • Effective Communication: Communicate product plans, project status, and updates to internal stakeholders, including executives and team members, bridging technical and non-technical teams.
  • KPI Monitoring: Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) for the Member Center and use data-driven insights to inform product decisions and optimize user engagement.
  • Risk Management: Identify potential risks and challenges related to product development and work proactively to mitigate them, anticipating market shifts and regulatory changes that may impact product strategy.

Qualifications:

  • Proven experience as a Product Owner or similar role in a tech-driven environment.
  • Strong understanding of product development lifecycle and agile methodologies.
  • Excellent communication and leadership skills, with the ability to influence and collaborate effectively with diverse teams and stakeholders.
  • Passion for entrepreneurship and supporting the growth of startup ecosystems.
  • Ability to think strategically and make data-driven decisions.
  • Experience with financial technology or business accelerator programs is a plus.
  • Bachelor's degree in a relevant field; MBA or equivalent experience is a plus.
  • Understanding of financial services, banking, and payments industry trends.
  • Demonstrated success in delivering complex, high-impact products on time and within budget.
