Job Description CUSTOMER QUALITY PRODUCT STEWARD - Health and WellnessJob Summary:The Customer Quality Product Steward role within the ADM Technical Center and is an experienced role that has technical oversight for quality related matters relating to the supported business products. This includes providing detailed guidance and reviews as well as regulatory governance, assuring that local and global regulatory requirements are met during production, marketing, and sales activities. This role will act as the liaison between ADM and customers on all complex documentation requests and provide counsel to multiple functional teams that develop, produce, market, sell, transport and store ADM products. This position exhibits expert competence and is likely to be contacted regarding all aspects of quality support for the commercial, sales, customer service, and production teams when necessary. Mentoring of Customer Quality Specialists, Representatives and Managers when established will be required to ensure development and growth. Direct interaction with existing and potential ADM customers is expected. Introduction, participation and adhering to existing processes as well as creation and implementation of activities to support improvement opportunities is necessary to ensure that best in class customer satisfaction is obtained. Product Stewards assist with complex reviews in Raw Material approvals for Health and Wellness platform. Role responsibilities will increase in complexity as knowledge and understanding is gained at product and service levels. This position reports to the Global Director Customer Quality.Essential Job Functions:In depth knowledge and understanding of FSMA and 21 CFR 111 requirementsComprehensive understanding of global regulations as related to supporting products with a proactive approach on current regulatory climateWrite, own, and manage product/program statements of guaranteed compliance for customer distributionSupervise and manage distribution of product information to customers through various communication mediumsMentor Customer Quality Specialists and Customer Quality RepresentativesPartner with R&D, Marketing/Commercial, Sales, Regulatory to ensure product compliance during new product introductionsCollaborate with Customer Quality and Production Quality to ensure customer, regulatory and production expectations are understoodADM representative for industry associations respective to business markets supportedAssure product label information, including trademarks & artwork, meets regulatory regulations to avoid misbrandingContent owner for safety data sheets, labels, and other regulatory informationParticipate/support Crisis Management team events as neededDemonstrate positive actions to support customer (internal and external) intimacy, aiming towards a high level of customer satisfactionCollaboration with Product Stewards representing other ADM BUs to ensure company/documentation/service alignment for customersJob Qualifications:Bachelor's degree in science-related fieldMinimum 10 years of a mixture of technical, quality, and regulatory services with experience in Dietary Supplements Industry preferredPCQI TrainedExcellent written and verbal communication skills with developed interpersonal skillsAbility to articulate complex regulations into common user language procedures and requirementsAbility to travelHigh regard for accuracy and attention to detailIndependent troubleshooting and ability to work without direct supervisionExcited about this role but don't meet every requirement listed?
