The Software Engineering Manager will lead a team responsible for creating, maintaining, and evolving Lexipol's Knowledge Management System product. This includes server-side development in Java, web client interfaces in JavaScript, and mobile clients using Flutter. The role is crucial in ensuring the successful delivery and continuous improvement of this product line, collaborating with various stakeholders to achieve these goals. This position is remote.

This is done through working in these areas of focus:
- Representing the Engineering organization with Solutions Management stakeholders to ensure delivery of meaningful requirements, use cases, and user experiences.
- Supporting the team in the planning and execution of projects, ensuring deliveries are accomplished within time and budget.
- Coordinating complex projects with other Engineering managers, ensuring the success of the product line.
- Coordinating with other teams, including Quality Assurance, DevOps, and Release Management.Requirements and Expected Outcomes- Background in software design and development of Software-as-a-Service products.
- Project estimation and planning skills.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to understand and communicate the behavior of complex systems to non-technical stakeholders.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Engineering/Computer Science or related field; Master’s degree preferred.
- 8 or more years’ experience in software development.
- 3 or more years’ experience as a Software Engineering Manager or Lead Software Engineer.
- Experience managing multiple concurrent efforts required.
- Experience managing teams using Scrum and Agile methods required.
- Experience with a range of software development tools and platforms strongly preferred, with a concentration in Java microservices and AWS Lambdas preferred.
- Experience with management of scalable cloud-deployed products strongly preferred.

Compensation and Benefits
Lexipol offers a competitive base salary, monthly, quarterly, or annual incentive and a comprehensive benefits package including 401(k) with Company match and a flexible paid time off plan.

Annual base salary range targeted at $160,000 plus bonus.
