Description

You’ll serve as the Technical Project Manager for your team(s) by ensuring clear communication and collaboration among the team. You will drive the Agile -based team processes focused on predictable, quality delivery and driving continuous improvement of the team. You will facilitate team productivity by removing impediments that may obstruct the pursuit of the team's goals and by preserving flexibility and ability to rapidly respond to changes on the team.

Primary Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Work collaboratively with cross-functional teams and other Technical Project Managers to support Data development delivery.
  •  Support the Data Org the work-intake triage process to ensure new requests are addressed in accordance with SLAs. 
  • Set-up and ensure maintenance of Programs, Epics, and Stories in Jira to appropriately manage the teams’ work through to completion.
  •  Help set project delivery commitments and determine impacts as a result of fluctuating priorities and resource availability
  •  Coordinate dependencies between teams with other Scrum Masters.
  • Track and report team velocity and manage Sprint capacity and ensure team is working efficiently towards Sprint goals.
  • Resolve or escalate blocking impediments as necessary.
  • Organize and facilitate daily stand-up meetings, sprint and release planning, backlog grooming and refinement sessions, sprint demos, retrospectives and other process meetings.
  • Coordinate teams in troubleshooting and resolving production support issues which require cross-team coordination, especially those impacting customers
  •  Work with Development managers to manage team capacity.
  • Coach the development team and stakeholders on following Data Org processes and practices and ensure they are effectively implementing them. Recommend improvements and assist in changes to best practice.

Required:

  • 5+ years of experience in a Technical PM or Scrum Master role, ideally having experience working in a technically challenging and complex environment.
  • Experience simultaneously running multiple scrum teams distributed globally
  • Experience with Jira and Confluence
  • Experience supporting technical agile data engineering and platform projects in a cloud-based environment
  • Excellent team player with the ability to influence and negotiate and understand/communicate technical issues
  • Bachelor’s degree in information systems, BI or Analytics or Engineering – or equivalent work experience
  • Scrum Master/Agile certification

Experience with AWS, Databricks, Salesforce Data Cloud
