Salary - Market rate - Salary base plus Bonus Depending on experience DOE
Key points:
- 5 or more years of experience out of highly regulated industries, such as, Banking, Financial services, Healthcare, working as an Infrastructure Operations hands-on Manager in an environment of Microsoft, Cisco, Citrix, Palo Alto, and AWS.
- Must be able to provide technical leadership and guidance on infrastructure engineering responsibilities, such as cybersecurity, cloud platforms, datacenter, server virtualization, network and core IT systems, such as Active Directory/Entra ID and Exchange.
- A person must have led on prem to cloud initiatives with a clear understanding of Business Processes going from manual now being built into code (codification), Automation, different kinds of Modernization. Azure or AWS (preferred).
- Demonstrated experience as a hands-on technical manager, actively involved with infrastructure interacting with development team, working on designing, developing, deployment, modernizing and implementing technical solutions
- Aptitude for troubleshooting and solving complex issues through creative solutions.
- Experience with hybrid environments including on-premises and cloud services is a plus.
- Strong leadership and mentoring skills
- Bachelor's degree in related field or extensive experience (10+ years) required
Responsibilities:
- The Senior Manager Infrastructure Operations will lead a team responsible for datacenter and network infrastructure to help to ensure a performant, reliable, scalable and secure technology infrastructure.
- Provide primary technical leadership and guidance on infrastructure engineering responsibilities, such as datacenter, server virtualization, network and core IT systems, such as Active Directory/Entra ID and Exchange.
- Multi-departmental collaboration with technology leaders across the firm, particularly in areas Cyber security department and Cloud development department (think platform engineering).
- Oversee cross-functional Infrastructure Operations staff to ensure the delivery of reliable and scalable solutions.
- Lead and develop a highly skilled technical team, including through training, mentorship, and coaching.
- Collaborate with senior leadership, maintain a high degree of readiness to adopt and implement new technology solutions.
- Oversee budgeting, expenditure management, purchase of new and replacement hardware and software, when necessary.
