Senior Infrastructure Solutions Architect (Siemens Teamcenter PLM)

Location: Remote or Flexible Locations
Duration: Contractual Engagement
Clearance: Active Secret Clearance is REQUIRED

Position Overview:
As a consultant in the role of Senior Infrastructure Solutions Architect, you will serve as the primary liaison for fostering robust relationships with clients and assisting them in achieving their objectives within their sector. This role demands exceptional interpersonal abilities, expertise in AWS, proficiency in DevOps practices, technical leadership, and skills in process enhancement, alongside knowledge of Teamcenter PLM installation, management, and upgrade processes. As part of the Professional Services team, you will collaborate with Consultants, Solution Architects, Project Managers, Industry Experts, and Product Development teams to ensure project and client success. You will understand and demonstrate how our client's PLM services will influence and integrate with customers' initiatives and business drivers to deliver value.

Responsibilities:
  • Utilize industry best practices and templates for the PLM Software solution delivered to provide customer value.
  • Lead project initiatives to conduct system performance evaluations and define configuration settings for optimal system efficiency.
  • Analyze and translate infrastructure requirements into an architectural design document that outlines solutions integrating across applications, systems, and platforms to achieve business objectives.
  • Design the Deployment Architecture and determine infrastructure hardware sizing aligned with the customer strategy, roadmap, IT policies, and standards.
  • Define activities to analyze, tune, and monitor customer environments for optimal performance and stability for PLM products.
  • Understand customization/software extension points of PLM products and assess the impact of customization on the hardware infrastructure design.
  • Provide guidance and support for appropriate go-live and post-production activities utilizing our client's Best Practices.
  • Support project management activities to control scope, cost, schedule, and quality.
  • Communicate project processes and progress by interacting with the customer to support customer expectations and adoption.
  • Implement the overall Teamcenter PLM Solution, which includes installation and upgrade activities, as well as integration with other software applications.
Required Knowledge/Skills, Education, and Experience:
  • BS degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Technology, or equivalent knowledge of PLM.
  • Working knowledge of the following: UNIX, LINUX, Windows Servers, heterogeneous network environments, virtualized hardware environments, web servers, cloud computing, automation scripting, proxy server, Active Directory, SAML, SSL, SSO, Java EE and .NET web tier, Oracle, and Microsoft SQL databases.
  • 10+ years of experience writing Terraform and AWS CloudFormation templates.
  • 10+ years of experience developing DevOps solutions from scratch using tools such as Ansible, Jenkins, Packer, AWS Code, and related products.
  • Ability to build code pipelines and support deployment activities.
  • Ability to write scripts in JavaScript, Bash, Python, or similar.
  • Strong understanding of foundational cloud components (e.g.: VPN, Direct Connect, IAM, CloudWatch, VPC, "cross account" capabilities).
  • Knowledge and application of container, orchestration, and container platform technologies such as Docker, Kubernetes, and OpenShift.
  • Familiarity with the Department of Defense (DoD) Cloud Computing Security Requirements Guide and Risk Management Framework.
  • Experience leading a group of consultants during software implementations.
  • Multiple years working in a customer-facing environment.
  • Excellent communication skills at various levels throughout an organization.
  • Self-starter with strong communication skills.
  • Willingness and ability to travel as required.
Skills that will set you apart from the rest:
  • 5+ years of experience implementing Teamcenter solutions or similar products, such as Enovia, ePMD, Windchill, Aras Innovator, or Agile.
  • Previous experience with Enterprise PLM, ERP, or MES implementations, specifically in the setup and maintenance of test and production environments, as well as promote to production activities.
  • WS associate level certifications or higher.
  • CompTIA Security+ Certification.

  • Candidate must be a United States Citizen with the ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. Government Security Clearance.
