Position Overview
The Senior Operations Manager oversees the operations and personnel for locations managing a fleet of approximately 288 vehicles. You will lead a team that includes Operations Supervisors, Technicians-In-Charge, Customer Service Coordinators, and other support staff. Your leadership will be crucial in meeting business objectives while ensuring that operational and labor needs are fulfilled.
Key Responsibilities
- Operations Management: Oversee work analysis, vehicle planning, and scheduling. Directly involved in labor planning, ensuring optimal productivity and efficiency.
- Labor Management: Provide guidance and development to the management team, ensuring effective performance management and technical training.
- Customer Management: Maintain strong customer relationships, focusing on satisfaction and retention while optimizing vehicle maintenance cycles.
- Financial Management: Engage in strategic financial planning, budget forecasting, and cost control measures to meet financial targets.
- Asset Management: Ensure the maintenance and appearance of assigned locations, adhering to quality standards and operational procedures.
- Quality Management: Develop and implement corrective actions for operational quality issues, ensuring compliance with safety and regulatory standards.
Qualifications
To be successful in this role, candidates should possess:
- A high school diploma or GED; an associate's degree is preferred.
- A minimum of four years of experience in an operations environment.
- At least three years of supervisory experience.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to foster relationships at all organizational levels.
- Experience in maintenance and technical operations is advantageous.
