Responsibilities for the Accounts Receivable Specialist:
  • Generate and distribute accurate and timely customer invoices.
  • Monitor accounts receivable aging reports and follow up on overdue accounts.
  • Communicate with customers via phone, email, and mail to facilitate timely payment.
  • Investigate and resolve billing discrepancies and disputes in a professional manner.
  • Reconcile accounts receivable ledger to ensure accuracy and completeness.
  • Prepare and maintain documentation related to customer accounts and payments.
  • Collaborate with sales and customer service teams to address customer inquiries and concerns.
  • Assist in month-end closing processes and provide support for financial reporting as needed.

Qualifications of the Accounts Receivable Specialist:
  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field preferred.
  • Proven experience in accounts receivable or a similar finance role within a manufacturing or related industry.
  • Strong understanding of accounting principles and practices.
  • Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Detail-oriented with strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
  • Ability to prioritize tasks and manage time effectively in a fast-paced environment.
  • Familiarity with ERP systems is a plus.
Salary:$28-$32 per hour
