Pacific Fluids is located on the Port of Tacoma with a lab, warehouse, and over a million gallons worth of bulk tank storage on site. We blend and haul bulk lube oil, chemicals, jet fuel, wing and runway deicer throughout the PNW and into Canada. We are looking to add a dedicated Facilities Maintenance employee to our staff.

Duties/Responsibilities:


Inspects and identifies equipment or machines in need of repair.
Troubleshoots issues to determine necessary repairs.
Plans repair work using blueprints or equipment manuals as needed.
Performs general repairs that do not require a specialized technician. Examples may include repairing
drywall, painting, welding, rebuilding pumps, repairing doors and other building fixtures.
Performs routine maintenance on building systems.
Cleans and assists with upkeep of facilities.
Orders supplies and materials needed for repairs and maintenance.
Performs other duties as assigned.

Required Skills/Abilities:


Ability to follow instructions from supervisors and or management.
Knowledge of general carpentry, plumbing, electrical and welding.
Ability to use hand tools, power tools and welders.
Excellent organization and time management skills.
Ability to operate a forklift.

Education and Experience:


High school diploma or equivalent.
Boiler Certification preferred
Related experience preferred.
On-the-job training offered.

This position is considered a safety-sensitive position for pre-employment drug testing purposes under Washington state law.
