The Lead Security Engineer plays a critical role in safeguarding our organization's digital assets by overseeing security operations and engineering. With a strong technical background and communication skills, the Lead Security Engineer acts as a liaison with the business to provide security consultation and ensure alignment with organizational objectives.

What you will do:
- Implement and maintain security controls, configurations, and protocols to protect organizational assets.
- Lead security operations, including monitoring, analysis, and response to security incidents.
- Act as a primary hands-on liaison with the business to provide security consultation and guidance on security configuration.
- Manage security logging and event management systems to ensure timely detection and response to security threats.
- Provide on-call support for security incidents and emergencies, ensuring prompt resolution and minimal impact.
- Lead security incident response scenarios, coordinating efforts across teams to contain and mitigate security breaches.
- Stay abreast of emerging security threats and technologies, continuously enhancing security practices and procedures.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate security requirements into business processes and applications, ensuring a holistic approach to security.
What we look for:
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Security, or related field, or equivalent experience.
- Minimum 8+ years of experience in technology, with a focus on security operations and engineering.
- Demonstrated expertise in security controls, configurations, and protocols.
- Relevant certifications such as CISSP, CISM, or CEH highly desirable.
- Proficiency in security logging and event management systems.
- Experience leading security incident response scenarios.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively liaise with stakeholders at all levels.
