Job DescriptionJob DescriptionAs a support to the Norcross Adult Ministries this role develops leader recruitment strategies, maintains leader onboarding processes, and provides oversight for leader communication. This Coordinator is responsible for supporting the processes and initiatives vital to the growth of small group community at their campus, initiatives at the direction of the Campus Adult Ministries Pastor. 
You are part of one team taking ownership and responsibility for the care and keeping of this house. You stay willing and eager to serve in big and small ways, from welcoming guests to picking up trash.
  • Provide oversight for Small Group & One Step Team Leader training held at/for campus leaders. This includes oversight & development of Small Group & One Step training teams
  • Provides ministry support for Campus Adult Ministries Lead team
  • Responsible for maintenance & integrity of relevant ministry data & processes such as small groups info, leader onboarding, & ministry initiatives data (1o1, marriage advisor appointments, etc.)
  • Responsible for 2-way leader communication within Adult Ministries such as monthly newsletter oversight, leader surveys, collecting stories, etc. 
  • Provide oversight for administrative processes within adult ministries in areas such as ministry event/initiative calendaring, pastoral assignments for premarital counseling, etc. 
  • Responsible for oversight (reservations, setups, etc.) of Adult Ministries specific events and meetings at designated campus as assigned by Campus Adult Ministries Pastor, to include but not limit identifying, training and leading volunteers to support initiative.
  • Responsible for organizing activities in eSpace, Strategy & Marketing requests, & working with VFS as assigned for Adult Ministries events & initiatives 
  • Support the launch of small groups at designated campus (both general group launches & specialty-specific group launches).
  • Responsible for providing complete oversight for weekend One Step experience. Including but not limited to scheduling teams, equipping with information, and serving as overall One Step POC for the weekend
  • Responsible for partnering with Campus Adult Ministries Pastor to keep track of/manage ministry budget(s), as well as the completion of monthly expense report.

Skills/Qualifications:
  • Two years of experience in a related position is preferred.
  • Strong leadership & organizational skills
  • Ability to multi-task, work in a fast-paced, collaborative, environment
  • Maturity and good judgment in dealing with interpersonal matters
  • High level of discretion in dealing with confidential information   
  • Flexible schedule (available for weekends and evenings)
  • Reliable transportation to travel between campuses
  • Project Management software experience
  • Proficiency with Mac hardware and Office/Outlook software
