Data Governance Professional

Direct Hire

Oklahoma City, OK – remote a few days a week

Pay: up to $115K DOE


** Must be authorized to work in the United States, now and in the future, without assistance **


Our client is looking to add to their data governance team. This is a great opportunity to work on an experienced, stable team. This person will be working with their sister team that develops the data catalog and work to develop governance program around the data. They are creating from scratch and will be the data owner, steward, and be responsible for managing classification of data, digital, electronic, and email.


The hired person will assess what they are doing, establish framework, data owners, data stewards, for the business unit, etc. This person must be able to blend the constraints of technology and information security with desires from business unit.


Previous experience that would be helpful

· Written polices & procedures

· Created documentation

· Audit

· Creative/polished/marketing

· Library Science background

· Consulting background would work well on this team


MUST HAVE:

· 5-10 years related work experience in data governance such as quality control, security, risk management, & knowledge management.


Ideal candidate traits:

· Visionary who can build a program

· Creative information design skills
