Membership Sales Rep Job Description

Summary

Responsible for membership sales by bringing in new members to the gym and assist in the retention of gym memberships

Exemption Status

Preferred Education

  1. High school diploma or equivalent

Essential Job Duties

  1. Assist potential members in selecting the appropriate membership option that best meets their health and fitness goals
  2. Retaining and growing Alphalete gym membership base and a strong follow through with leads

Additional Job Duties

  1. Grow the member base of the gym through sales while providing superior customer service
  2. Knowledgeable of the different memberships and programs that the gym offers and help direct potential members to what best fits their goals
  3. Respond to prospective members by following up with them and building customer relationships
  4. Maintain long-term clientele and grow the gym’s membership base through sales, new member onboarding, and excellent customer service
  5. Organize different marketing methods to best promote from both within and outside the gym
  6. Conduct tours of the gym while establishing a relationship and targeting an individual’s needs and wants
  7. Emphasize and enforce the objectives of the club as a fitness and wellness provider
  8. Deliver an exceptional sales and service experience to all guests and members
  9. Other job duties as assigned

Required Skills / Experience

  1. 1+ years of sales experience preferred
  2. Great organizational ad time management skills
  3. Functional knowledge or MS Office (Outlook, Word, Excel, and Power Point)

Preferred Skills / Experience

  1. Maintain current CPR/Training Certification
  2. Previous customer service experience
