We are seeking a motivated and dynamic Junior Account Executive to join our team and help drive business growth in the ground control point and geospatial industry.

Position Overview:

As a Junior Account Executive, you will play a crucial role in developing and maintaining relationships with clients in the geospatial industry. You will work closely with senior sales team members to identify opportunities, generate leads, and support the sales process from initial contact through to closing deals. This is an excellent opportunity for someone looking to start their career in sales and gain valuable experience in the geospatial sector.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead Generation and Prospecting:
    • Conduct market research to identify potential clients in the ground control point and geospatial industry.
    • Generate and qualify leads through various channels, including cold calling, email outreach, and social media.
    • Maintain and update the CRM system with accurate and up-to-date client information.
  • Sales Support:
    • Assist senior sales team members with the preparation of proposals, presentations, and sales materials.
    • Schedule and coordinate meetings, demos, and follow-up activities with clients.
    • Support the development and execution of sales strategies to achieve revenue targets.
  • Client Relationship Management:
    • Build and maintain strong relationships with existing and potential clients.
    • Respond to client inquiries in a timely and professional manner.
    • Ensure high levels of customer satisfaction by addressing client needs and providing appropriate solutions.
  • Market and Product Knowledge:
    • Stay informed about industry trends, competitors, and advancements in geospatial technology.
    • Develop a deep understanding of CompassData’s products and services and communicate their value to clients.
  • Reporting and Analysis:
    • Track and report on sales activities, progress, and outcomes.
    • Analyze sales data to identify patterns and areas for improvement.
    • Provide regular updates to the sales manager on sales pipeline and performance.

Qualifications:

  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Geospatial Science, or a related field.
  • Experience: 1-2 years of sales experience, preferably in the geospatial, technology, or related industry and / or we will provide training.
  • Skills:
    • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
    • Excellent organizational and time management abilities.
    • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and CRM software (e.g., Salesforce).
    • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
    • A proactive and results-oriented mindset.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Knowledge of the geospatial industry and related technologies.
  • Experience with lead generation and prospecting techniques.
  • Familiarity with sales strategies and techniques.
