The Opportunity:

The Specialist – Treasury Applications plays a vital role in ensuring the accurate and timely application of cash received from customers. With a meticulous approach, you will reconcile accounts, swiftly addresses any discrepancies, and maintains a high level of financial accuracy in this position. Reporting directly to the Treasury Manager, this role contributes significantly to customer satisfaction and the overall financial health of the organization.

Responsibilities-

  • Accurately recording cash receipts in our transportation management systems through customer remittances. Work directly with customer for missing remittances or discrepancies, overpayments, and credits.
  • Review and process receipts from various sources including checks, electronic payments (ACH, wire), and credit card transactions.
  • Work closely with the Accounts Receivable and Collections team to resolve payment issues and discrepancies on customer accounts.
  • Investigate and resolve discrepancies in a timely manner, escalating any issues to the Treasury Manager.
  • Maintain accurate and organized records all receipts and related transactions.
  • Assist in external and internal audits as requested, preparing, and maintaining any requested documents.
  • Other duties as assigned by the Treasury Manager.

Required Skills, Qualifications, and Experience-

  • Associate’s degree or similar combination of work and education experience preferred.
  • Preferred knowledge or experience working in a similar role or financial/accounting background.
  • Adaptable at learning new software programs and proficient in Microsoft Suite.
  • Strong attention to detail and excellent organizational skills.
  • Ability to work in dependently and as part of a team.
  • Familiarity with Dynamics ERP system is a plus.
