As a System Analyst - Applications, you will play a critical role in maintaining report writing functions and ensuring the effective production of reports that meet the needs of our end users.


Key Responsibilities"
  • Maintain accurate and realistic timelines in coordination with the System Coordinator.
  • Communicate daily with the System Coordinator regarding current projects and status.
  • Provide weekly updates to the System Coordinator on all projects and their status.
  • Follow through on projects and communicate with customers on a weekly basis to update them on progress and status.
  • Support development activities that require specialized system enhancements.
  • Assess own learning needs and seek additional resources to increase competency in the job.
  • Maintain the integrity of the processing environment and ensure continuity with current processing applications.
  • Establish and maintain positive working relationships with all enterprise departments to optimize working relationships and communication.
  • Fulfill departmental requirements by providing work coverage and administrative notification during periods of personnel illness, vacation, or education.
  • Assist with training and development of users when requested.
  • Set up realistic schedules and time frames for task completion.
  • Work with vendors to provide cost-effective and user-friendly solutions to end users' needs.
  • Maintain ongoing review of reports to ensure satisfaction with system.
  • Write required reports and perform necessary testing to ensure work meets user needs.
  • Maintain contact with user/department to provide better workflow and integration of system operations.
  • Provide documentation updates if changes are made to existing reports.
  • Maintain trouble tracking system and meet department service standards.
  • Maintain working knowledge of microcomputer and network systems used and supported by MMS.
  • Maintain confidentiality of information related to patients, associates, and/or Mountain Management Services operations.
  • Utilize e-mail system to provide good communication within the office and throughout MMS.
  • Provide help desk coverage as assigned.
  • Rotate call with other I.S. personnel.

Qualifications"
  • High School Diploma or equivalent.
  • Associate degree in computer-related field preferred; or, one year of additional training at the college/trade school level in a computer-related field with equivalent experience in lieu of formal education.
  • Ability to express complex technical concepts effectively, both verbally and in writing.
  • Ability to work well with people from different disciplines with varying degrees of technical experience.
  • Minimum of 2 years IDX GPMS experience.
  • Must be able to type, understand computer manuals from vendors, make presentations before large groups of people effectively, train others, have project organizational skills, and have excellent communication skills.
