Position Summary:

The Marketing + Social Media Coordinator is responsible for ensuring effective marketing execution. This role is responsible for organizing, managing, and distributing marketing materials to sales staff. This position will also assist the Brand + Marketing Manager with writing content briefs and delivering creative content on social media and email campaigns.

This position supports and contributes to the Ten Thousand Villages mission by:

Supporting the execution of compelling marketing campaigns and making sure that content is organized and accessible.

Position Duties/Responsibilities:

Marketing Coordination

  • -Project manage all store promotional assets to creative team based on promotional calendar.

  • -Assist with email planning as needed.

  • -Post and organize all store creative assets on SharePoint in a timely manner.

  • -Reply to general requests and questions from store team.

  • -Coordinate printing and shipping of printed marketing materials to stores (as needed).

  • -Make general deliveries for marketing and creative team errands.

  • -Review copy and product selection in emails to ensure copy accuracy and product availability.

Social Media Coordination

  • -Create and maintain content calendar for META and LinkedIn.

  • -Create asset development plan using in-house creative team and influencer content.

  • -Under direction of Brand + Marketing Manager and eCommerce Manager, create and execute Pinterest strategy for key bestselling eCommerce products.

  • -Consistently engage with our digital community and create a space for them to feel more connected to the brand.

  • -Act as the social media liaison between the home office and stores (Company and Branded Wholesale); ensure the timely delivery of all social media assets for promotions.

  • -Maintain social media best practices and guidelines resources for in-store staff.

  • -Generate reports to summarize campaign results and review performance.

  • -Schedule pre-approved social media content on Instagram, Facebook, and LinkedIn.

Preferred Experience:

  • -Bachelor's degree in a relevant field or equivalent experience

  • -1-2 years’ work
