Job Description:

We are seeking a versatile and experienced Training Manager to lead our training initiatives across various departments, including painters and drywallers, restoration technicians, infection control technicians, sales, business development, and leadership roles. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in training and development, with expertise in technical skills, soft skills, and leadership development.

Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with department managers and subject matter experts to design and develop comprehensive training programs for painters, drywallers, restoration technicians, infection control technicians, sales professionals, business development staff, and leadership positions.
  • Facilitate engaging and interactive training sessions for employees at all levels, utilizing a variety of instructional techniques and multimedia resources. Conduct both classroom-based and hands-on training sessions to ensure effective learning outcomes.
  • Provide technical training on painting techniques, drywall installation and repair, restoration procedures, infection control protocols, and other job-specific skills required for each department.
  • Deliver training on soft skills such as communication, conflict resolution, customer service, time management, and leadership development. Customize training content to address the specific needs of each department and role.
  • Implement leadership development programs for supervisors, managers, and director-level positions. Provide coaching, feedback, and support to develop leadership competencies and enhance managerial effectiveness.
  • Assess the effectiveness of training programs through feedback mechanisms, performance evaluations, and skills assessments. Monitor training outcomes and adjust programs as needed to optimize learning and performance.
  • Maintain accurate records of training activities, including attendance, evaluations, and certifications. Generate reports on training effectiveness, participant feedback, and compliance metrics as needed.
  • Identify opportunities for improving training programs and processes. Stay abreast of industry trends, best practices, and regulatory requirements to ensure training content remains current and relevant.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in education, organizational development, human resources, or a related field. Master's degree or professional certifications (e.g., CPLP, CPTM) preferred.
  • Minimum of 5-7 years of experience in training and development, with expertise in technical skills training, soft skills development, and leadership development.
  • Strong knowledge of training methodologies, instructional design principles, and adult learning theory.
  • Experience designing and delivering training programs for a diverse workforce, including frontline employees, technical staff, and management positions.
  • Excellent presentation skills with the ability to engage and motivate learners at all levels.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively interact with diverse audiences.
  • Detail-oriented with a commitment to accuracy and compliance.
  • Proficiency in learning management systems (LMS), e-learning authoring tools, and Microsoft Office suite.
  • Ability to travel occasionally to deliver training at various company locations.
