POSITION SUMMARY

Responsible for supporting the development and implementation of communication and marketing strategies to increase brand awareness, engage target audiences and drive business growth. This role involves coordinating various communication activities, creating marketing content, assisting with the planning/execution of marketing strategies, collaboratively managing social media channels and creating awareness regarding available behavioral health resources and treatment services.


ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

PERFORMANCE STANDARDS:

  • Perform all duties and demonstrate behaviors and attitudes consistent with the mission, vision and values of the organization.
  • Continually participate in building and maintaining positive working relationships through effective communication, performance improvement and teamwork efforts.
  • Be of good character and reputation; sufficient physical, mental, and emotional health to satisfactorily perform her or his job duties.
  • Accomplish individual and team goals and objectives established by supervisor based on performance evaluations and organizational need.
  • Comply with all guidelines regarding client rights and confidentiality.
  • Comply with documentation and training set forth by Human Resources.

COMMUNICATIONS & MARKETING:

  • Develop, write, and edit content for various marketing materials including but not limited to newsletters, press releases and brochures.
  • Asist in the planning, editing, execution and tracking of marketing campaigns, including digital advertising, email marketing, videography and event promotions.
  • Maintain a unified voice and brand equity across marketing content such as: internal communications, printed collateral, social media, signage, and promotional materials.
  • Serve as a liaison for Center staff in the area of Marketing including printed and digital collateral, media content and Centennial apparel and promotional products.
  • Responsible for designing and producing content for internal newsletters and collaborating on content creation for internal/external communications.
  • Responsible for design, layout and content development in partnership with Center staff for Centennial’s Annual Report.
  • Responsible for developing radio and newspaper advertising plans with appropriate media outlets; creating content; designing and preparing advertisements; and writing radio scripts to reach the demographics and coverage area served.
  • Collaboratively maintain the Center’s website including creation of content, completing updates, and collaborating with IT Department and/or contractors regarding necessary back end design/maintenance.
  • Assist with the planning, promotion and execution of company events internally and externally.
  • Conduct research on industry trends and client/staff preferences to inform marketing strategies.
  • Track and analyze the effectiveness of marketing campaigns and communication efforts. Provide regular reports to the Executive Support Director.

COMMUNITY ENGAGMENT AND RESOURCE DEVELOPMENT:

  • Develop and maintain cooperative relationships with colleagues, external stakeholders and community members throughout the Center’s 10 county catchment area.
  • Represent the Center on local community and State advisory committees and key stakeholder groups.
  • Promotes the Center’s services to the public and business community throughout the Center’s 10 county catchment area.



Requirements:

EDUCATION:

Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, Public Relations or related field. Demonstrated knowledge and experience may be substituted for course work.


EXPERIENCE:

Demonstrated experience in marketing, media, communications and design preferred.


ABILITIES, KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS:

  • Excellent written communication and editing skills with strong organizational abilities and meticulous attention to detail.
  • Demonstrated proficiency in design and social media platforms (e.g., Canva, Adobe Creative Suite, Constant Contact, InDesign, iMovie, Microsoft, 123rf, Wordpress, Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn, YouTube, Apple and Android devices) are a plus.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of team.
  • Adaptability and willingness to learn new tools and techniques.
  • Strong skill set to manage several projects simultaneously, set priorities, problem solve and meet deadlines.
  • Maintains a constructive working relationship between and among employees at all levels of the organization.
  • Ability to work flexible hours, which may be required.
  • Ability to travel within the Center’s service area or to other locations as needed.
  • Demonstrate a commitment to continuous skill development to competently serve individuals from diverse cultures and backgrounds.
