In the role of Marketing Assistant at MG Moving Services, you will be instrumental in aiding the marketing team to implement diverse strategies aimed at elevating our service visibility, enhancing brand recognition, and fostering customer interaction. Compensation:

$44,000 - $50,000 yearly

Responsibilities:

  • Content Development: Assist in crafting engaging content for various platforms, including social media, blogs, and email communications.
  • Social Media Oversight: Aid in managing and expanding our presence on social media channels, including content creation, scheduling, and engagement monitoring.
  • Email Campaigns: Support the design and execution of email marketing initiatives to highlight services, promotions, and company news.
  • Market Analysis: Conduct research to uncover trends, identify target demographics, and analyze competitor strategies, providing valuable insights to the marketing team.
  • Campaign Assistance: Support the planning, execution, and evaluation of marketing campaigns, ensuring alignment with corporate objectives.
  • Visual Design: Collaborate with the marketing team to produce visually appealing promotional materials, such as flyers and digital assets.
  • Event Planning: Assist in organizing and promoting corporate events, trade shows, and other marketing activities.
  • Administrative Duties: Provide general administrative support to the marketing team, including meeting coordination, calendar management, and report preparation.
  • Inventory Oversight: Manage promotional inventory across multiple locations, ensuring timely ordering of materials such as trade show supplies and branded items.
Qualifications:
  • 1-3 years of experience in marketing, social media management, or a related field is preferred.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
  • Familiarity with social media platforms (Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn) and content management tools.
  • Basic knowledge of graphic design tools (e.g., Canva, Adobe Creative Suite) is a plus.
  • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively.
  • Creative thinking and problem-solving skills.
  • Strong interest in the moving and relocation industry is a plus.
