In the role of Marketing Assistant at MG Moving Services, you will be integral in aiding the marketing team to implement various strategies aimed at promoting our offerings, enhancing brand visibility, and fostering customer interaction. Compensation:

$44,000 - $50,000 yearly

Responsibilities:

Key Responsibilities:

  • Content Development: Assist in crafting compelling content for social media, blogs, email communications, and other marketing collateral.
  • Social Media Oversight: Aid in managing and expanding our social media presence by creating posts, scheduling content, and tracking engagement metrics.
  • Email Campaigns: Support the creation and execution of email marketing initiatives to highlight services, special promotions, and company news.
  • Market Analysis: Conduct research to uncover trends, identify target demographics, and analyze competitor tactics, providing valuable insights to the marketing team.
  • Campaign Assistance: Help in the planning, execution, and monitoring of marketing campaigns, ensuring they align with organizational objectives.
  • Visual Design: Collaborate with the marketing team to produce visually appealing promotional materials, including flyers, brochures, and digital graphics.
  • Event Planning: Assist in organizing and promoting company events, trade shows, and other marketing activities.
  • Administrative Tasks: Provide general administrative support to the marketing team, including scheduling meetings, maintaining marketing calendars, and preparing reports.
  • Inventory Oversight: Manage promotional inventory across multiple locations, ensuring timely ordering of items such as trade show materials, apparel, and packing supplies.
Qualifications:
  • 1-3 years of experience in marketing, social media management, or a related field is preferred.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
  • Familiarity with social media platforms (Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn) and content management tools.
  • Basic knowledge of graphic design tools (e.g., Canva, Adobe Creative Suite) is a plus.
  • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively.
  • Creative thinking and problem-solving abilities.
  • Strong interest in the moving and relocation industry is a plus.
