As a Financial Reporting Coordinator at Augmentjobs, you will be responsible for managing the preparation and distribution of accurate and timely financial reports to support decision-making processes within the organization. This role involves coordinating with various departments to gather financial data, ensuring compliance with reporting standards, and assisting in the implementation of best practices in financial reporting.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Financial Reporting: Coordinate the preparation and review of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements, including income statements, balance sheets, and cash flow statements.

  • Compliance: Ensure all financial reports comply with GAAP, IFRS, and other relevant regulations and standards.

  • Data Analysis: Perform detailed analysis of financial data to identify trends, variances, and opportunities for improvement.

  • Collaboration: Work closely with finance, accounting, and other departments to gather and validate financial information.

  • Audit Support: Assist in internal and external audits by providing necessary documentation and explanations of financial data.

  • Process Improvement: Identify and implement improvements in the financial reporting process to enhance efficiency and accuracy.

  • Software Utilization: Utilize financial reporting software and tools to streamline reporting processes and improve data accuracy.

  • Ad Hoc Reporting: Prepare customized financial reports and analyses as requested by senior management.

Required Skills:
  • Financial Acumen: Strong understanding of financial statements, accounting principles, and financial analysis.

  • Regulatory Knowledge: In-depth knowledge of GAAP, IFRS, and other relevant financial reporting standards.

  • Analytical Skills: Ability to analyze complex financial data and provide actionable insights.

  • Attention to Detail: High level of accuracy and attention to detail in preparing and reviewing financial reports.

  • Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to explain financial information to non-financial stakeholders.

  • Collaboration: Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to work effectively in cross-functional teams.

  • Time Management: Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet tight deadlines.

  • Technical Proficiency: Proficiency in financial reporting software, ERP systems, and advanced Excel skills.

Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.

  • CPA or equivalent certification preferred.

  • 4 to 7 years of experience in financial reporting, preferably in a corporate environment.

  • Experience with financial reporting tools such as Hyperion, SAP, or Oracle is a plus.

Work Environment:
