Position Summary:

The Financial Reporting Manager will be responsible for delivering comprehensive financial reporting, analysis, and support to the Healthcare Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A) team. Key responsibilities include overseeing financial reporting and analysis during critical periods such as the bonus process, forecasting, and month-end closing activities. This role will be pivotal in providing essential insights to the CFO and Senior Leadership team regarding financial performance across sectors, while also focusing on process improvements to enhance team efficiency.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Assist in the analysis and preparation of essential monthly financial reports for Senior Leadership and the CFO.
  • Foster relationships and act as a liaison between Finance and Accounting teams.
  • Gain a thorough understanding of financial systems to ensure accuracy in monthly reporting.
  • Support the preparation of monthly forecasts and the month-end closing process.
  • Continuously enhance monthly financial reporting processes and maintain comprehensive documentation.
  • Collaborate with Business Unit Finance teams to analyze key business drivers affecting financial trends.
  • Provide timely and accurate analysis for executive meetings and ad hoc requests.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned.
Qualifications:

To excel in this role, candidates must meet the following qualifications:

Education and Experience:
  • Bachelor's degree in Finance or Accounting is required.
  • An MBA or advanced degree is preferred.
  • A minimum of 4 years of experience in corporate finance is required, with at least 2 years in a similar role.
Additional Skills:
  • Ability to collaborate effectively with others and maintain a positive work attitude, including flexibility during peak periods.
  • Advanced proficiency in Excel, including experience with lookups and pivot tables.
  • Competence in Microsoft Word, Outlook, and PowerPoint.
  • Strong organizational, analytical, and interpersonal skills.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication abilities.
  • Self-driven to learn new concepts and engage in new projects.
  • Quick learner with the ability to work independently.
  • Capability to build relationships and work cross-functionally with various business partners.
