Job DescriptionJob Description

The Entry Level Business Development Trainee is responsible for generating leads on behalf of our premier home improvement clients inside retail locations. Our Business Development team plays a pivotal role in the marketing and sales efforts for our clients. As an Entry Level Business Development Trainee, you will be taught how to establish quality leads by engaging with customers to determine their interest in home improvement and home remodeling options.

Essential Functions and Responsibilities - Entry-Level Business Development Team:

  • Highlight the benefits and value of various home improvement solutions and products while interacting with potential customers
  • Create sales leads for the home design team for interested customers
  • Provide sincere and genuine service to all customers
  • Perform and operate with a high level of focus, determination, and organization
  • Strictly adhere to all company policies, procedures, and compliance practices
  • Communicate clearly with Business Development and Management teams if improvements can be made, based on need, area, or interest  

Entry Level Business Development Trainee Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in a business or consumer focused field is preferred
  • Minimum 1-2 years of customer service, sales, or business development experience 
  • Desire to gain hands-on experience including territory management, lead generation, sales, and customer-relationship development
  • Strong communication and presentation skills 
  • Natural leadership skills with results-oriented mindset
