Albizu University is seeking qualified applicants for a 12-month, full-time faculty member for the master’s degree program in speech-language pathology. The selected candidate is expected to begin in the Fall of 2024. Four-day week hybrid work schedule with two remote days and two days on campus (Friday and Saturday).

The selected candidate must meet ASHA accreditation faculty requirements.


Responsibilities:

  1. Prepares course syllabi and materials, including lectures and exams.
  2. Submits student grades to the Registrar’s Office by the deadline.
  3. Performs student advisement.
  4. Participates in the accreditation process.
  5. Monitors students needing remediation.
  6. Participates in faculty meetings.
  7. Conducts mid-term and final student evaluations twice a term.
  8. Submits required academic reports and forms, in a timely and accurate manner.
  9. Participates in institutional or campus meetings and training as appropriate.


Required Qualifications:

Doctoral degree is required.

ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence.

Applicant must also be licensed or licensed eligible in the State of Florida.

Teaching or training experience in the field of speech-language pathology.

Experience mentoring or in clinical supervision.
