  • Core hours are from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m., with additional hours available from 7:30 a.m. to 6 p.m.

Essential Skills:

  • Preferred experience as a pediatric Speech-Language Pathology Assistant (SLPA)
  • Strong understanding of speech and language therapy principles and practices
  • Experience with electronic records management is advantageous
  • Ability to engage constructively with children of diverse personalities and diagnoses to enhance their functioning in natural settings
  • Collaborative approach with other professionals to optimize patient progress
  • Proactive in staying updated with clinical practices and committed to professional growth
  • Professional demeanor with a focus on quality care in interactions with clients and their families
  • Excellent communication skills, with proficiency in English and Spanish preferred

Qualifications:

  • Valid State of Florida (DOH) license required
  • Willingness to become an Early Steps provider
  • Must have or be willing to obtain professional liability insurance ranging from $1M to $3M and secure a Certificate of Insurance (COI)
