Job Summary

Miami Jewish Health is seeking a skilled Speech Language Pathologist to join our team on a part-time basis. As a Speech Language Pathologist, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality care to our patients and residents.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct comprehensive evaluations and develop individualized treatment plans to address speech, language, and swallowing disorders.
  • Collaborate with healthcare teams to ensure seamless care coordination and effective communication.
  • Provide training and education to family members, caregivers, and other professionals to promote optimal patient outcomes.
  • Monitor patient progress, adjust treatment plans as needed, and maintain accurate documentation.
  • Participate in departmental meetings and contribute to the development of policies and procedures.
Requirements
  • Master's degree in Speech Language Pathology from an accredited institution.
  • One year of experience in speech language pathology, preferably with the geriatric population.
  • Florida licensure as a Speech Language Pathologist.
  • Current BLS certification.
  • Certification with the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association (CCC-SLP) is preferred.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Bilingual English/Spanish proficiency.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Strong problem-solving and clinical judgment skills.
