The Associate Product Manager is responsible for assisting in product planning and execution throughout the product lifecycle. You'll play a pivotal role in shaping our products, ensuring they align with both customer needs and company goals. This includes supporting the gathering and documentation of product and customer requirements, assisting in defining the product vision and collaborating with engineering, sales, marketing, and support to ensure alignment with company goals. The role will also involve understanding and analyzing the competitive landscape and supporting the product team in various capacities.

This role offers a unique opportunity to be deeply involved in the product management process, with potential for growth and advancement within the product team. Reporting to the Director of Product Management, the Associate Product Manager will gain invaluable experience and insights into the product lifecycle, from ideation to launch.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Assist in defining the product strategy and roadmap.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather feedback and support the creation of functional product requirements, complete with feature details and justifications.
  • Assist in the coordination of beta and pilot programs for early-stage products and samples.
  • Conduct competitive analysis to stay informed about the market and identify potential opportunities or threats.
  • Support senior product team members in various product-related tasks, ensuring smooth product development and launch processes.
  • Participate in release retrospectives, providing insights and feedback for continuous improvement and ensuring product quality.
  • Provide support to clients and client-facing teams, ensuring their needs and feedback are integrated into product decisions.
  • Participate in bug triage, collaborating closely with the product and development teams to prioritize and address issues.
  • Assist in the creation of both internal and client-facing materials, highlighting platform features and updates.
  • Proactively learn and understand our software and its primary users to effectively identify and solve problems.
  • Demonstrate the ability to think critically and adapt quickly to changing situations.

QUALIFICATIONS: 

  • Bachelor's degree in a related field or equivalent experience.
  • Experience in a product-related or business analysis role is a plus.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to work well in a team environment and collaborate with diverse teams.
  • Eagerness to learn, adapt, and grow in a fast-paced setting.
  • Demonstrated analytical and problem-solving skills with keen attention to detail.
  • Proven ability to quickly learn new software and understand user needs.
  • Strong pattern recognition skills and the ability to make data-informed decisions.
  • Familiarity with product management tools or software is a bonus.
