This position is located in Omaha, NE with the ability to work remotely from home.
Here’s the role you’ll play:
- Design solutions for prospects based on Strong Technical Services’ standard products offerings
- Document, track and facilitate reviews and approval of Non-Standard Requests (NSRs) for services that are not part of the standard product catalog
- Assist Sales Reps in developing and delivering presentations, product demonstrations and proposals to prospects in order to achieve or exceed the sales plan
- Respond to functional and technical elements of RFIs/RFPs
- Document the technical aspects of customer solutions for inclusion in the post-sales implementation specifications and facilitate the hand-off from sales to operations
- Develop and provide technical training to sales team
- Maintain customer relationships as appropriate in regards to pre/post sales opportunities
- Present company’s services to customers at events such as conferences, seminars, etc.
- Assist Product Management in the development of new services by providing customer feedback and technical and operational insight
- Willing to take ownership and take on other duties as assigned
Here’s what you need to make the cut:
- Bachelor’s Degree required
- 5+ years’ experience in technology sales engineering, preferably within Audio/Video industry
- Expertise in Audio/Video, Data Networking and Content Management Software
- Ability to meet strict deadlines
- Experience with Microsoft Office applications (Word, PowerPoint, Visio and Excel)
- Outstanding presentation skills and experience with technical and sales-oriented presentations
- Ability to work nights, weekends and holidays as needed
- This position will require travel
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
- Comfortable working in a high-stress, face-paced environment with shifting priorities
- Excellent time management, organizational, and analytical skills
- Self-starter who can find and resolve issues as they are identified
- Ability to successfully interface with a wide range of personnel within the organization
