Summary

We are looking for a highly organized and detail-oriented individual to join our marketing team as a Traffic Coordinator. The Traffic Coordinator will play a critical role in managing the flow of marketing projects, ensuring tasks are completed on time and within budget. This position requires strong communication skills, meticulous attention to detail and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.

Duties & Responsibilities

Essential Functions

  • Coordinate the flow of marketing projects from initiation to completion, ensuring deadlines are met and resources are allocated efficiently.
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for all marketing project requests, clarifying objectives, timelines and deliverables with stakeholders.
  • Maintain a comprehensive project schedule/calendar, tracking the status of each project and communicating updates to relevant team members.
  • Facilitate regular meetings with cross-functional teams to review project status, address challenges and ensure alignment on priorities.
  • Collaborate with creative, copywriting and design teams to ensure assets are developed according to project specifications and brand guidelines.
  • Manage the review and approval process for marketing materials, tracking feedback and revisions to ensure accuracy and consistency.
  • Conduct research on industry trends, competitors and target markets to support marketing strategies.
  • Assist in the tracking and analysis of marketing metrics and KPIs to evaluate campaign effectiveness and ROI.

Additional Responsibilities

  • Coordinate with external vendors and agencies as needed for project execution, including obtaining quotes, managing contracts, and overseeing production schedules.
  • Monitor project budgets and expenses, reconciling invoices and expenses against approved budgets.
  • Identify opportunities to streamline processes and improve workflow efficiency within the marketing department.
  • Assist in the documentation and maintenance of standard operating procedures (SOPs) related to project management and traffic coordination.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business Administration, Communications, or related field preferred.
  • 3+ years of experience in project management or traffic coordination, preferably in a marketing or advertising agency setting.
  • Proficiency in project management software/tools (e.g., Asana, Trello, Jira) and familiarity with project management methodologies (e.g., Agile, Scrum) is highly desirable.
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams and stakeholders.
  • Attention to detail and a commitment to delivering high-quality work on time.
  • Problem-solving mindset with the ability to anticipate challenges and proactively address them.
  • Familiarity with marketing processes and terminology, including creative development, campaign execution and media production.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook) and Google Workspace (Docs, Sheets, Slides, Drive).
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment while maintaining a positive attitude and professional demeanor.
