Events & Special Projects Coordinator

Huntington University has an opening for a part-time Events & Special Projects Coordinator.
The Events & Special Projects Coordinator is responsible for providing leadership and direction to special events and programs at Huntington University that will resonate with alumni and friends and increase engagement participation.
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Must have a strong personal Christian commitment and faith in Jesus Christ and a desire to serve others
- Must be committed to the mission of Huntington University as a comprehensive Christian College dedicated to educating men and women to impact our world for Christ
- Demonstrated understanding of Christian higher education, preferred
- Positive interpersonal skills and a team player
- Excellent communications skills
- Creativity, strong communication, interpersonal, organizational, and time management skills.
- Demonstrated ability to work as a member of a team.
- Commitment to stewardship of University resources.
- Strong networking skills and minimum supervision.
- 2-4 years of equivalent work experience preferred.
- Flexibility to travel as needed.
- Commitment to continuous process improvement.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, Word, Excel and Power Point.
- Evening or weekend work availability as required.
- Degree from Huntington University preferred.

Work Schedule: This is a part time, 25 hours per week/10 months per year, hourly position.
