Duties:

HR and Payroll

  • Manage, process, and maintain end-to-end multistate bi-monthly payroll, including but not limited to payroll calculations, deductions, garnishments, taxes, fringe benefits.
  • Review and reconcile payroll data exports from ERP or time management system.
  • Update worktimes for employees and support timesheet modifications (i.e. adjustments to cost units or already released hours).
  • Track and manage time-off for employees.
  • Provide needed expertise and guidance for US labor laws (Payroll).
  • Support with tracking and managing benefits for employees.
  • Support with full-cycle recruitment.
  • Support team leads with employee performance assessments (incl. tracking and recording employee goals).
  • Review and process expense reports and verify supporting documentation.
  • Continuously develop, maintain, and implement company policies.

Travel bookings

  • Book flights, rental cars, hotels, etc. for employees.
  • Assist with VISA applications.
  • Coordinate with HQ travel team if needed.
  • Training Assistant
  • Manage company training platform (engage).
  • Support dept. leads with suggested trainings for new and existing employees.

Your Profile and Qualifications

  • Experience with ADP payroll.
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in payroll administration.
  • Proficient using Microsoft Office Suite (especially MS Excel incl. formulas).
  • Legal expertise for US federal, state, and local payroll laws.
  • Demonstrated understanding of HR related legislation, practices, processes, programs, and technology.
  • Demonstrated strong and effective verbal, written, presentation, and interpersonal communication skills and effective public speaking ability.
  • Previous experience working with others to resolve problems or conflicts and demonstrated capacity to mentor or train others.
  • Must possess previous experience and commitment to maintaining confidentiality regarding business and Human Resources matters.
  • Must be a positive, organized, driven problem solver, and multi-tasker, with the ability to prioritize and follow up in a fast-paced environment.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Associate or Bachelor’s degree in business administration or related field.
  • Foreign language skills (German or Spanish) are beneficial.
  • Experience with implementation of new payroll software.
  • Certified Payroll Professional (CPP) or other payroll certification is a plus.

Salary: $60,000
