Position: Remote Claims Analyst- Medicare
Pay: $20-$23 (Based on Experience)
Job Type: Full-time, Contract to Hire
Hours: M-F Start 7:30 AM or 8 hour shift with 30 min lunch and 2 15 min breaks
Location: Will be fully onsite for at least the first 30 days, then after will move to fully remote once the feel the candidate has a good understanding of what to do in the role. Will provide them with equipment.
Experience Requirements:
- Medicare Advantage experience
- Must have experience with Appeals and Denials
- Commercial Collections Experience
- Prefer to have UB-04 exp
- Prefer experience with Availity, Meditech, or Waystar
Job Responsibilities:
- Will work on billing out claims in the morning
- Will handle all follow/collections 2nd half of the day
- Will be working primarily all Medicare accounts
- Will work around 30-40 accounts per day
- Will handle all appeals and denials (Not clinical denials - will get sent to a different team)
- Work of UB04 claim forms
